Radio Program in Montreal Providing Inuit a Place to Tell Their Stories

January 27, 2016 – “You don’t need to speak Inuktituk to understand that this conversation is emotional charged. Or to appreciated why so many feel this radio show provides a real service to Montreal Inuit.”

It’s the name of Canada’s only southern radio show hosted by Inuit for Inuit. The program kicked off in October and provides a place for Montreal’s Inuit community to tell stories in their own language. It’s something supporters of the program say has been needed for a long time.
